Shipping

What countries do you deliver to?

We are selling world wide via our online shop and try to support as many countries as possible. Handling inhouse requires 2 to 3 business days, in some cases dealing with customs might prolong the process. 

If you are not able to use our shipping calculator but your country is listed as supported destination, please contact us for an individual inquiry. If your country is not listed, we probably have difficulties shipping to it. You might consider a forwarding service in this case. 

 

Delivery Time of my order ?

The delivery time of your order depends on your location. Please see the list below for estimations.

Deutschland: 2/3 business days
Europa: 5/6 business days
Rest of the world: up to 20 days

Customs regulation ?

All customers based outside of the EU are responsible for customs & duties within their own country. For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office. TechN GmbH is legally required to declare the full value paid on shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it. This does not apply to customers within the EU.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched you will receive shipping confirmation, along with tracking details for your order.  If you have an account, you can login and check “My Orders” for the current status of your order.

Product Care

Backplate electrically isolated

The TechN backplates for our AM4 water block is equipped with a thin foil that protects electrical components on the back of mainboard against shorting. It is easy to overlook. Please do not remove this foil. 

We strongly recommend to use the TechN backplate for optimal contact pressure of the cooler. Even if the original backplate coming with your mainboard might fit. There are certain mainboards with incompatible circuitry on the backside like the MSI MPG B550I Gaming Edge WIFI. You can use the original MSI backplate on your own risk. 

Deposits, staining on the cooler coldplate

Some users reported stained coldplates after some weeks of use. In most cases we singled out not using proper coolant as the issue. When using distilled water, it quickly takes up ions from the inner copper surfaces of radiators and deposits them on the coldplate. The use of corrosion inhibitors prevents this.

Acrylic and Alcohol

TechN water blocks use acrylic components that are attacked by using alcohol based cleaning fluids. The alcohol leads to microfractures and cracking. Instead of Isopropyl/Isopropanol you can simply use soapy water and a toothbrush 

This also applies for diethylene glycol that is found in some anti freeze automotive products and might be used as a coolant for its anti corrosive components 

Returns

How to return my product ?

Not happy with your TechN product or ordered by mistake? If you ordered from Germany and it is still in unused condition and within 2 weeks after your purchase you can send it in for a refund. Fill in and print our return form to send it with the TechN product for easy processing.

Do I have to pay for shipping my return?

You will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items. We recommend you use a courier service which provides insurance for the value of the items you return or at least provides you with proof of shipment. We are not responsible for items that are returned to us in error.

Can I exchange an item?

If you would like a different item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the return process for a refund….

How to order as a company / Gewerbetreibender ?

You can order as company as well, just contact us with your UID / USID-Nr: shop [at] techn.de. We will prepare an offer.

Do I need an account to order online?

You do not need an account to order in our webshop. However, setting up an account will allow you to view past orders and the status of your current order. Creating an account is easy and can be done at the checkout.
